Project/Program: Wisconsin Women's Business Initiative Corporation Black Business Boost Program
Role: Program Manager, Small Business Coach
Objective: Remove barriers in access capital for 100 socially, economically, and disadvantaged entrepreneurs.
Key Responsibilities: Manage a $650K evidence-based economic empowerment program funded by a prominent national bank

Provided 1:1 tailored technical assistance and training to program participants, Facilitated $2.4 million in capital access, earning the Governor’s 2023 Financial Literacy Award and promoting economic equity.

Project/Program: Wisconsin Minority Business Development Agency- Business Center
Role: Program Manager, Small Business Consultant
Objective/Goal: Remove barriers in access capital for socially, economically, and disadvantaged entrepreneurs.
Key Responsibilities: Manage a $650K evidence-based economic empowerment program funded by the federally operated MBDA.

Increased the organization’s visibility by expanding client outreach from 2,400 to 16,000 individuals within six months, surpassing KPIs and enhancing community engagement.
The rebirth of Villard Avenue
Project/Program: Revitalizing City of Milwaukee Business Improvement District #19 (Villard Avenue)
Role: Business Improvement District Director
Objective/Goal: overseeing 230+ commercial real estate portfolio valued at over $46 million
Key Responsibilities: managed the day to day operations of a historic business corridor designing programs that boosted economic advancement, Street beautification, and maintenance. Commercial business retention/attraction, small business development, district marketing & advertising, Façade improvements, safety & security, special events and promotional activities.

Facilitated Milwaukee’s first Virtual Charrette (design plan), making Milwaukee History as the first of its kind. securing a $14.3 million federal transportation improvement grant. Launched the award-winning "Visual Vibes on Villard" public art initiative, earning the 2022 Mayor’s Design Award for advancing equity in public spaces. earned the City of Milwaukee's 2022 Mayor's Design Award in the "Places & Spaces" and 2022 AAA Wisconsin: Traffic Safety Award Winner Milwaukee, WI (3/22)

OWNER'S REP: LADYINC VENTURES was retained as the owner rep to represent Agape Properties which collaborated with Quorum Architects Inc to re-envision a commercial property in the Near West Side neighborhood. The result of our project is the above rendering which won the 2020 Brew City Match Building owners track award.

ENVIRONMENTAL EQUITY: Ms. Sharpe initiated the creation of the Villard Avenue Business Improvement District's "Clean, Green, & Me Initiative," which was created to do encourage our community to participate in local based physical activities to improve their overall health. And to promote agriculture and sustainable food, green infrastrucutre, and environmental awareness. The Brownfield Remediation Initiative to transform contaminated commercial parcels into active, useable spaces in the district. In partnership with the City of Milwaukee Dept. of Public Works and Milwaukee Dept. of City Development. Remediation testing began in August 2021.
